Roy Noujaim

Roy Is a global Finance and Operational Leader with strong financial, leadership & strategic abilities. Over 15 years of proven Finance, Commercial and management experience, including multiple international roles in the US, Europe and the Middle east.
 
He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Agrifresh. Since his return to Lebanon in 2019, Roy took over the management of Agrifresh and was able to completely transform and improve the company's processes and results while leading the company across severe economic situations and through a worldwide pandemic that resulted in the closure of multiple businesses. Agrifresh has a portfolio of 250+ Business accounts across all regions in Lebanon and 10,000+ Consumer accounts. The company mainly produces fresh cut ready to eat vegetables and is currently diversifying it's portfolio by entering new segments.
 
Prior to joining Agrifresh, Roy was based in Paris, France, leading the Commercial Finance team of GE Renewable energy. In his role, Roy had to partner directly with the commercial teams in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and CIS to negotiate and close customer contracts for the Hydro business. He tendered 2+ Billion $ of deals in 2017 and 2018 and managed to sign 850+ Million $ of Orders. Roy was also able to negotiate, manage, and issue 80+ Bank guarantees, Letters of Credits, and other financial guarantees. He also partnered with the GE Capital financing branch to offer customers alternatives to traditional financing options.
 
Before taking his role with GE Renewables, Roy was part of GE's Financial Management Program (FMP) and subsequently GE's Corporate Audit Staff (CAS). CAS is the premier organization within GE for personal and professional growth, developing leaders across the functions through extensive training and practical leadership roles; it is an intensive program designed to provide high potential employees with unparalleled on-the-job development opportunities. While on CAS, Roy proved himself and got promoted from Associate to Senior associate and then to Manager, where he Led multiple teams (20+ associates & Senior associates) in diverse financial, operational, compliance, and process improvement engagements. 
 
Overall and throughout his 9 years with GE, Roy was exposed to multiple industries such as Aviation, Power, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Digital, etc. . He lived and worked in 18 different cities across 8 counties while working with brilliant people from 100+ nationalities.
 
Roy holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a master’s of Science in Management from EMLyon Business School. He is a Lebanese and French citizen; he is married and a proud father of Mateo & Lucas. He loves travelling (visited 92 cities across 31 countries) and have a passion for Sailing (Pursuing sailing courses @ Les Glenans).
